She is survived by: her children, Richard Mathis, David Mathis (Christina Josey Mathis) and Sara Leblanc (Dion); and her siblings, Jerry Blackwell and Debbie Blackwell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
