He is survived by: his wife Frances Ann Hankins; his children, Robbin Lees (Donald) and Jason Hankins; his grandchildren, Carrie Neatherlin (Doug), Andrew Lewis and Caleb Lewis (Crista); and his siblings, Patricia Cupp, Charles Hankins, Wade Hankins and Dwight Hankins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Heritage Funeral Home (4100 FM1788, Midland, TX 79707). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
