She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Simmons and Estelle Turner; her husband Willie Turner; and her son Donald Turner. She is survived by: her sons, James Turner (Brenda), Harry Turner (Connie) and Allen Turner; her siblings, LeRoy Buckner and Betty Thomas (H. K. Thomas); and her grandchildren, Valerie Warren (William), Travis Turner (Taylor), Brandy Houpe (Gregg) and Jas'Rhric Turner. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
