He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastasio Diaz and Luz Diaz; and his son Jose Andres. He is survived by: his spouse Domitila Diaz. He is also survived by 9 children, 1 brother, 1 sister, 47 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory (1040 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A rosary was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Anthony's Catholic Church (1321 W Monahans St, Odessa, TX 79763). A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ector County Cemetery (300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761).
