It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lewis Kirby MD in Odessa, Texas, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kirby and Mary Lou Kirby; and his brother Peter Scott Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his brother Steve Kirby (Karen); his children, Ben Kirby (Jessica), Brian Kirby (Lisa) and Megan Kirby Spaeth (Michael); and his grandchildren, Charlie, Cora, Ellie, Cooper, Camden, Chloe, Beau and Luca.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sparkman Hillcrest (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225).
