He was predeceased by: his father Ricardo Mendez. He is survived by: his wife Linda Baeza; his children, Ashley Torres (Joshua), Robert "Cody" Mendez, Michael Mendez and Joanna Mendez; his grandchildren, Riley Arriola, Rowan Torres and Ziggy Torres; his mother Trisy Mendez; and his siblings, Jessica Tompkins (Tony), Denise Oliva (Joe), Rick Mendez and Victoria "Little Sister" Flores (Zac). He is also survived by sister; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Guardian Funeral Home and Cremation Services (5922 CROSSTOWN SH. 286, Corpus Christi, TX 78417). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church (3502 Saratoga Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
