He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest J. Stanford and Ovella Azlee Teal; his siblings, Ernest D. Stanford and Elsie Doverspike; his nephew Ricky Doverspike; his son-in-law David Bozworth; and his mother-in-law Shirley Swanson.

He is survived by : his wife Patti Stanford; his children, Shayne Stanford (Jarree) of Enid, Felicia Stanford Bozworth of Faimont, Tina Stanford Stelling (Don) of Wagoner, Bobby Woods, Krystel Woods and Michelle Woods (Brian Sosa) of Odessa, Texas.; his siblings, Hollis Stanford and Reathea Stanford Alexander; his father-in-law Bob Swanson (Janet); his grandchildren, Cody Frazier, Colby Frazier, Brianna Woods (Adam Chilson), Frankie Lopez, Aspen Woods, Mackenzie Woods, Cloe Venegas, Kimber Woods, Carter Stanford and Jameson Stanford; his great grandchild Jay Woods; his nephews, Mark Doverspike (Glenda), Randy Doverspike (Debbie) and Steven Doverspike (Donna); and his niece Resa Phillips.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (20 Hwy, Odessa, TX 79762). A burial was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
