He is survived by: his sibling Hooper Trucking Co; his children, Whitney Hooper of Odessa, Joli (Brody Gipson) of Odessa and Colt Hooper of Odessa; his grandchildren, Levi, Branson and Lindli Gipson of Odessa; and his close friends, Phyllis, Scott Thane, Britni Young and Tony. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be given to Star Hospice of Odessa in lieu of flowers.
