He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucio and Emma; his wife Joann; his children, Samuel Jr., Victoria (Miguel), Michelle, Jessie and Daniella (Joshua); his grandchildren, Jamie, Charlie and Ryker Wayne; his siblings, Mary, Catarina "Catta", Carol, Lucy, Anna, Alice, Sally, Johnny, Israel, Jamie and Mikeal; his grandson Ryder Lochlan; and his siblings, Elida "Elly", Manuel, Juventino "Tino" and Alfred "Freddy". He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gonzales Funeral Home (310 S Main Ave, Lamesa, TX 79331). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM and at 4:00 PM.
