He was predeceased by: his son Nicolas Lopez; his parents, Nicolas Lopez and Consuelo Lopez; and his siblings, Consuelo Alvear, Isabel Orozco, Gilberto DeLeon, Arturo, Nicolas and Jose Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Maria V. Lopez; his children, Jesus Hector Lopez, Jr. (Diana), Monica DeLeon (Lauriano) and Adrian Lopez (Delilah Saenz); and his grandchildren, Alondra, Angel, Andres Lopez, Genesis, Laureano, Alani, Carina, Nicolas DeLeon, Aidan, Alejandro, Adaleah and Abram Lopez.
