He was predeceased by: his parent Garmon Lee Reames. He is survived by: his mother Thelma Jean McCord Reames of Naples, Texas; his wife Betty Reames of Omaha; his daughter Rhonda; his son-in-law Brent Ehrlish of Omaha; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Margarita Reames of Mount Pleasant, Texas; his sister Martha Powell of Naples; his brother-in-law Billy Easley of Omaha; his grandchildren, Jacob Morton (Courtney), Chelsee Reeves (Ryan), Elizabeth Reames and Sammuel Villalva; and his great grandchildren, Aubree Reeves, Khouree Reeves and Sadie Morton. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Omaha Cemetery (109 Augusta St, Omaha, TX 75571).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in Mount Pleasant.
