He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleophus Ralph Claybrook and Emma McIlrath Claybrook; his wife Jeanette Claybrook; his brother Wendell; his sister-in-law Mid Claybrook; his sisters, Freda (Jerry Ahrens) and Evelyn (Art Osborn); and his grandchildren, Shelby Frowiss and Brittany Riley.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Claybrook (Margaret) of Simms, Dawn Trickey (Bryan) of Mt. Pleasant, Joel Claybrook (Shelly) of Naples, Jason Claybrook (Staci) of Pflugerville and Duanna Frowiss (Chris) of Granger, Texas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a host of great-great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bar Nun Cowboy Ministries.
