He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Rook and Nannie Laura Williams Rook; and his siblings, Bob Rook, Richard Rook and Mary Kendrid.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Grimes Rook; his daughters, Mary Ann (Curtis Waller) and Tammy Jones of Caddo Mills, Texas; his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Carla Rook of Elysian Fields, Texas; his grandchildren, Jesse Jones, Casey Jones (Jesyca), Josh Wooten and Chris Wooten; and his great grandchild Carson Jones. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
