He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Lin McKissick (James), Audrey Ferguson, Christopher Ferguson and Kevin Blackburn; his in-laws, Linda Anderson and Nathan Batrice (Karena Martin); his siblings, James Ferguson, Paul Ferguson (Delores) and Jean Hassig (Jim); his mother-in-law Bernice Crouch; his siblings-in-law, Carl Crouch (Shelly), Flo Ferguson and Reta McCullough (Curtis); his grandchildren, Addison Steed (Dulcie), Caleb Ferguson, Issac Ferguson Horton, Danielle Ferguson, Drake Blackburn (Myriah), Hayden, Ethan Batrice and Charlie Ferguson; and his great grandchildren, Bentley and Braylon Blackburn.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Concord Missionary Baptist Church (260 Co Rd 3306, Omaha, TX 75571). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be made to West Bowie Cemetery Association.
