She was predeceased by: her son Norman Hunter; her parents, Norman B. Renfro and Francis Elizabeth Renfro; and her close friend Morris Williams. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Adriane; her grandchildren, Grace and Jonathan Hunter; and her friend Greg Russell. She is also survived by extended family and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville (1700 Normal Park Dr, Huntsville, TX 77340). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Cemetery (492 Magnolia Cemetery Rd, Onalaska, TX 77360).
