He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Moss and Evie Moss (Heflin) of Lake Jackson, Texas.; his wife Kathy Elaine Hargis of Pasadena; his brother Billy Joe Moss; and his sister-in-law Anita Moss.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Zephry James Moss; his daughter-in-law Amy Christine Moss (Helm); his grandchildren, Zoe Katherine Moss and Zachary James Moss; his brother Clyde Douglas Moss; his sister-in-law Diann Hargis Louther (Bob Louther); his nephews, Chase Roscher, Joel Goodson and Neal Goodson; and his niece Lynsy Moss.
