It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Mae Evelyn Simms of Onalaska, Texas, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nugent Stovall and Ella Mae Stovall (Petty); and her brothers, Aubrey Stovall and Doyle Stovall. She is survived by : her children, Elaine Gorman of Portland, Lawana Simms of Carrolton, Texas, Brad Simms (Roxie) of Trinity, Texas, Pamela Simms of Overland Park, Robin Simms of Mayville and Jana Biel (Dan) of Walcott; and her siblings, Glenda Cessna (Jim) of Cleveland, Texas and Marvin Stovall (Rita) of Cleveland, Texas. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
