He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Rhoads and Edith Rhoads; his former wife Jan Ricks Rhoads; his son Benjamin Harry Rhoads III; his sister Claire Smith; and his sister-in-law Susan Rhoads.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Rhoads; his children, Courtney Rhoads Alcott (Sean), Kimberly Gauthier (Charles), Jeff Bilbo (Joy) and John Bilbo (Andrea); his close friend Chester; his grandchildren, Katelyn Alcott, Luke Alcott, Ava Alcott, Justin Bilbo, Kyle Bilbo, Chelsea Bilbo, Emily Gauthier, Madeleine Gauthier, Jacob Bilbo (Leilah) and Bradley Bilbo (Bethany); his great grandchild Charlotte Bilbo; and his brother Bartley William Rhoads. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
