She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Singleton and Ethel Killian Cox; her husband John "Smokey" Plunkett; her daughter Helen Barnard; her siblings, John Singleton and Mertie Singleton; and her daughter-in-law Shelley Plunkett.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Plunkett (Rhonda) of Hartburg, Sherlon Jones (Jerry) of Bridge City and Lee Plunkett of Orange; her grandchildren, Stephanie Bass of Bridge City, Gregg Bass of Hartburg, Melissa Henry of Orangefield, Abby Koushan (Lee) of Orange, Steven Bruce (April) of Spring, Amanda Addison (Jason) of Orangefield, Brandy Farr (Chris) of Buna, Eric Plunkett (Samantha) of Orange, Wyatt Plunkett of Houston and Scarlett Plunkett of San Antonio; her great grandchildren, Colby, Olivia, Asher, Ian, Kolte, Hunter, James, Euan, Harley, Noah, Ella, Karson, Caleb, Arwen and Maverick; and her great great grandchildren, Carter, Ava and Rhett.
