He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Clyde Davis, Sr. and Estelle Davis (Duggar); his spouse Beverly Davis (Brunson); his daughters, Linda Foil of Kokomo, Mississippi, Karen Owens (Forrest "Bo" Owens) of Hemphill, Texas, Sheree Benoit (David) of Bridge City, Texas and Lori Freeman (Bruce) of Warren, Texas.; his brother James R. Davis of Port Arthur, Texas; his grandsons, Doyle Wayne Morse, Jr., William Bryce "Matt" Matthews, III, David Ryan Benoit, Nathaniel Tillman Lynch, Logan Reid McGowne and Christopher Harvey Bellard; and his grandmother Dillard. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, 1950 Martin Luther King Drive, Orange, Texas 77630.
