He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Mae Bellow Sezer and Issac Sezer; his former wife Mildred Marie Phillips-Sezer; and his siblings, Rita Coleman, Elder John B. Ceaser, Esther McCray, Joseph Ceasar, Sr. and Rosalie Vandyke.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Jones-Sezer; and his siblings, Dominic Ceasar and Denise Johnson (Marvis Lee). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
