He is survived by: his wife Louise Day Ricks; his children, Debra Hood and Charles A. Ricks, Jr. (Kim); his granddaughters, Alanna Self (Justin) and Abby Ricks; his great grandchildren, Kiley Self, Kenzie Self, Jaxon McQuerry, Waylon Ricks and Autumn Meyers; and his sisters, Opal Whitehead, Lola Day and Wilma Permenter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home (504 5th St, Orange, TX 77630, USA). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
