He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Jean Martinez; his siblings, Julian Martinez, Linda Martinez Leleux, Shirley Martinez Thibodeaux, Camay Martinez Gills and Aline Martinez Hebert; and his parents, Dewey Martinez Sr. and Olivia Landry Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Karol Avant, Pamela Ann Jaus of Arlington, Elizabeth Lou Ford of Clear Lake, Susan Michelle Martinez of Carleton, Michigan, Christopher Todd Martinez, Mark Dewey Martinez of Orange and Neal Alan Martinez of Houston. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
