She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Elaine Robinson (Henderson) and Reverend William Daniel Robinson; her husband Reverend John Sims; her sons, Brad David Sims and Robert Daniel "Bob" Sims; her brother William Daniel Robinson; and her in-laws, Robert and Kathie Sims.
She is survived by: her niece Marah Bryant (Chad); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Black (Curtis).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Claybar Funeral Home (504 5th St, Orange, TX 77630, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Weeks Chapel Cemetery.
