He was predeceased by: his parents, A. V. Burney and Anne Marie Nurdin Burney (Billie); and his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Floyd (Carl) of Orange and Belinda Culberson (John) of Houston; his granddaughters, Ashley Floyd of Beaumont, Abby Terry (Mike) of Driftwood, Allison Gummelt (Cody) of Austin and Caroline Culberson of Austin; his great grandchildren, Hayden Dowden of Driftwood, Olivia Dowden of Driftwood, Brock Terry of Driftwood and Lily Gummelt of Austin; and his sister Shirley Brown of Katy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's name to the memorial fund at First Christian Church of Orange, 611 N. 9th St, Orange, Texas 77630.
