He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Preston Kay and Margaret Kay (Scoggins); and his brother Sheral Kay of Bridge City. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kay of Orange; his daughters, Ginger Gayle Kay Harrison (Richard) of Orange and Kimberly Ann Hinzman (Brian) of Rapid City; his grandchildren, Candice Harrison of Orange, Brandt Harrison of Orange and Zane Hinzman of Rapid City; his great grandchild Preston Katzman; and his niece Kathy Lynn Monceaux of Bridge City.
