We bid farewell to John E. Phelps (Orange, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 4, 2025 at the age of 83. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Junior and Woodrow Wilson Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his son John; his daughter-in-law Stephanie; his daughter Kristina; his son-in-law Christopher Robinson; and his grandchildren, Misha and Zachary. He is also survived by three sisters, two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
