She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mathis Baker and Alta Baker-Williams; and her former husband Joe Duhon. She is survived by: her husband Hal Monroe Brown; her children, Rebecca Sergeant of Evadale, Patrick Ethington and Shari Driver of San Diego, California; her grandchildren, Jonathan Martin, Heather Buckley, Allyson Sergeant, Sophie Sergeant and Halie Ethington; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Martin, MacKenneth Martin, Gabriel Martin, Graycee Buckley, Faythe Buckley, Logan Buckley and Gunner Buckley.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to, the Alzheimer's Walk in Beaumont, happening October 16th.
