“So Sad. When Justin was small and he was staying with his grandpa he and my granddaughter Faith Kaufman lived in that swimming pool during the summer. He helped me teach Faith how to swim. The family is in my thoughts and prayers”

Fay Broussard wrote a sympathy message

“Oh my how this breaks my heart. I worked at OF Elem when Justin went there. I was the cafeteria manager and as a young boy he would come see me and hug me EVERY day. Was a precious child. Watched him grow up at the schools. He turned into a great young man. My heart breaks now. Praying for the family. Sending peace and comfort for you. 😢♥️😢”
