He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Sears and Billie Sears; his grandson Brian Sears; and his siblings, Glenda Brogotti and Gordon Allen Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Sears; his children, Larry Ray Sears Jr., Chris Wayne Sears, Margie Crockett (David) and David Sears (Tracey); and his sister Pam Taylor. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons (8808 TX-87, Orange, TX 77632). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Maurice Catholic Church (9079 TX-62, Orange, TX 77632).
