She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Lanting; and her father Gene Steele. She is survived by: her children, Jane Anne (Chuck Ayarza) and JB; her mother Doris Jane Steele of Orangefield, TX; her siblings, Vicki King of Orangefield, TX and Mark Steele (Candice) of Orangefield, TX; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Ayarza, Joshua Ayarza, Jessica Ayarza, Dustin Ayarza, Bethany Ayarza, Kylee Lanting, Jennings Lanting, Benton Lanting, Landon Lanting and Khloe Lanting. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
