With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melba Hebert Bodin McCabe of Orange, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest A. Hebert and Gladys Hebert (Courtney); and her brother Johnny Courtney. She is survived by: her husband Larry J. McCabe; her sons, Wayne Bodin, Jr. (Tina) and Brent Bodin (Kurstin); her stepson Jamie McCabe (Wendy); her siblings, Jay Hebert (Barbara), JoAnn Buckley and Mary Ann Courtney-Janak (Don); her grandchildren, Alicia Bodin Garcia (Anthony), Jordan Bodin McFarland (Aaron), Madison Rose Bodin and Maddux Aaron Bodin; and her great grandchildren, Shelley, Avie Garcia, Camden, Lynix, Parker and Ryker McFarland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
