She was predeceased by: her parents, Almon Merrell and Ediloice Schmidt Bolton. She is survived by: her children, James Guillory (Heather) of Sulphur, Bryan Beasley of Dallas, Kevin Beasley (Liz) of Lake Charles, Twyla Rivers of Flatwoods and Carmen Laughlin of Houston, Texas; and her brothers, Marlin Merrell of Bridge City, Ronald Merrell (Anita) of Vidor and Jerry Merrell of Flatwoods. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
