We are sad to announce that, on March 18, 2022, at the age of 72, Rita M. Lewis of Orange, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Eaglin (Dunbar) and John Eaglin; her husband Alvin Lewis, Jr.; and her brother Hilton Eaglin. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Lewis (Latarsha) of Beaumont, TX, Annie Mae Lewis of Orange, Eyvonne Lewis of Beaumont and Dorothy Richard (Gerald, Jr.) of Orange; and her siblings, Will Eaglin, Arthur Lewis (Bobbie) of Houston, TX, Willie Eaglin of Lafayette and Dotsy Dunbar of Houston. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
