He is survived by: his children, Allen Lanning (Sandra) of The Woodlands, Terry Lanning LeGrande (Mark) of Beaumont and Carla Lanning Dunn (Jonathon) of Pearland; his granddaughter Amanda Petroff (Kevin); his children, Eric Lanning (Leo), Katie LeGrande, Kelli LeGrande, Blake Opper and Melissa Laudig; his great grandchildren, Cate Petroff, Nora Petroff, Jane Kitchen and Vera Kitchen; Robert "Bubba" Lanning, Leighia Beth Lanning Barron and Rebecca Annette Lanning Owens. He is also survived by Papa, or Great Papa, he loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
