She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Dean Simpson; her parents, Eddie Theriot and Hilda Theriot; and her son-in-law Ronney Joe Hargrave. She is survived by: her children, Leshea Hargrave, Dean Simpson, Larry Simpson (Lisa), Sarah Reaux and Shelly Smith (Bobby); her grandchildren, Dean Simpson, Kelby Simpson, Dylan Simpson, Cody Simpson, Railyn Reaux, Taylor Simpson, Hailey Reaux, Payten Smith and Brenon Smith; her great grandchild Jacob Simpson; and her sister Gail Persilver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
