He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey "Buck" Lawrence and Mabel Wingate Lawrence; and his brothers, Darrell Lawrence and Timothy Lawrence. He is survived by : his children, Angela Hebert of Greenville, Darrell Lawrence of Spring, Elizabeth Frederick of Greenville, Daniel Lawrence of Orange and Stephen Lawrence of Orange; his grandchildren, Madison Hebert, Cameron Hebert and Adalyn Benoit; and his siblings, Michael Lawrence, Dr. Patrick N, Maureen Shupp, Roger Lawrence, Eileen Romano, Christal Finck, Darlene Brister, Marian Kinchen, Theresa Fennessey, Kevin Lawrence, Maribeth Ray and C. B. Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home (504 5th St, Orange, TX 77630, USA). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (4300 Meeks Dr, Orange, TX 77632).
