He is survived by: his wife Crystal Smith of Gist; his children, Laci Smith of Gist, Vicki Rogers (Jacob) and Josh Cordle of Gist; his mother Mary Smith (Wells) of Gist; his brother Stephen "Smitty" Smith (Jodie); his nephew Levi Smith; and his grandchildren, Gilly Thibodeaux and Logan Rogers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
