She is survived by: her parents, Hector Vela and Maria Vela Ibarra; her brothers, Ricardo Vela of Orange, Texas and Hector Vela (Lluvia Flores Vela) of Dallas, Texas; her uncles, Ivan Vela, Miguel Vela, Emanuel Vela and Alejandro Vela; and her cousins, Ivan Vela and Santiago Vela. She is also survived by dog, Cookie; and many extended family members and friends.
