She was predeceased by: her parents, Blossie Rae Mayo and Robert Lytle Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Edward Franklin III of Richmond Texas, Michael Franklin (Monique) of Richmond Texas, Brandy Franklin and Crystal Franklin - Fees (Sean) of Fairbury Nebraska; her siblings, Billie F. Hicks - Gaston (Leon) of Georgia, Melvin Foreteson of Kendalton Texas, Patricia Hicks-Wells (Kenneth) of Rosenberg Texas, Robin Hicks McAfee and Pamela Hicks - Cook (Charlie) of Rosenberg Texas; and her significant other Ed Franklin Jr. of Richmond Texas. She is also survived by 13 grand children, 5 great-grandchildren and a flock of nieces and nephews.
