He is survived by: his wife Helen Louise Watts Vaughan; his great grandchildren, Steven L. Vaughan (Patsy), Mathew (Amanda), Preston, Katie and Landon; his grandchildren, Kelley Vaughan Barnes (Keary), Avery, Ella, Owen, Rebecca Vaughan Willis (Chase), Gavin and Claire; and his sisters, Eleanor Crawford and Mary Ann Ward. He is also survived by wife of 79 years, 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
