He was predeceased by: his fathers, Eddy Mae Freeman (Dukes) and Samuel Belcher; his aunts, Karen Dukes and Carol Dukes; his uncle Lamonte Jones Sr.; and his grandparents, Edward and Flora Mae Dukes.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri M. Strozier; his children, Lamar Strozier, Jr., Marquise Silas, Courtney Cook, Julia Cook, Aubry Cook and Cheyenne Leftwich; and his brothers, Keith Strozier and Lamonte Strozier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and brothers and sisters.
