He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, W. T. Stokes and Madeline Hughes Stokes; his wife JoNel Epperson of Rocksprings; his brother Sandy (Vicki); his sons, Ken (Gay) of Ozona, John Tom (Codie) of Lampasas and Andy (Rebecca) of Bulverde; his grandchildren, Justin Maldonado (Cristi), James Stokes, Emily, Cheyene Bownds (Chandler), Sol Stokes (Linda), Payton Bayer (Shelby), Sierra Rowland (Gus), Kali Stokes and Greer Stokes; and his great grandchildren, Ellum Maldonado, Darcie Stokes, Cash, Channing Bownds, Whitley Bayer and Walker Rowland.
