She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Allen and Maggie Bearden Brooks; her husband Robert C. Maxfield; her son Jimmy "Butch" Maxfield; her brothers, Irless Allen Brooks and Terry Dean Brooks; her son-in-law Alton Jones; and her granddaughter Daisha Jones.

She is survived by : her daughters, Phyliss and Phyllis Maxfield Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
