He is survived by: his children, Bryan Tran (Yen), John Tran (Lien), Alex Tran (Jannine), Van Tran and Nhung Terri Stoppa; his sister Thom Thi Tran; his grandchildren, Bien Hoa, Jennifer Lopez (Zach), Tiffany Hannigan (Dylan), Kimberly (Ricky Pok), Tony Anh Pham (Misty), Tony Thien Pham (Vy), Matthew Tran, Madeleine Tran, Michael Tran, Mia Tran and Kalli Coolen; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Lopez, Grayson Lopez, Henry Hannigan, Rory Hannigan, Junie Pok, Keo Pok, Tidus Pham, Autumn Thompson and Kirstin Thompson.

A rosary was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Vang Catholic Church (100 Vietnam St, Palacios, TX 77465). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
