She was predeceased by: her father Jose Oritz; and her son Fidel Chavez. She is survived by: her husband Alfredo Chavez; and her children, Dalia Chavez, Lorena Chavez, Marisol Chavez, Simon Chavez, Alfredo Chavez, Jr. and Sylvester Chavez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and other family members.
