She was predeceased by: her father Carmen Vela; her husband Manuel Nieto; her son Manuel Nieto Jr.; and her grandson Adrian Flores. She is survived by: her children, Josefina Diaz (late Benito Sr.), Blanca Flores (late Ramon), Herminia Gomez (Jose), Norabertha Yanez (Jose), Aracely Nieto, Eleazar Nieto (Rosalba) and Jose Nieto; and her siblings, Refugio Vela and Jose Vela. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
