He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Gyle Thompson McKissick and Thelma Marie Jones McKissick; his brother David McKissick; his half-siblings, George Castle and Gail Luna; his wife Debbie Hunt McKissick; his children, Tanya Marie Kolar (Michael), Haylee Nicole Hunt McKissick, Michael Lee McKissick, Jr. (Heather) and Matthew Gyle McKissick; and his sisters, Wanda Maxey and Marie Mosier. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren.
