She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Andy Richardson and Iva Lois Mathis Richardson; her husband James "J. M." Mallard Ray; and her siblings, Wanda Louise Mitchell (Bob), Eva Richardson Jeffcoat (Clifford) and Grady Angel Richardson (Marie).
She is survived by: her children, Melody Paul (Gary) of Palestine, Texas, Susan Ray of Palestine, Texas and Mitchell Ray (Leslie Wooley Ray) of Huntsville, Texas; her grandchildren, Alissa Paul, Taylor Paul (Jana), Jordan Ray (Lindsey) and Josie Ray; her great grandchildren, Ethan Piper, Alex McCreary, Stella Paul, Sheppard Paul, Reece Ray and Landon Ray; her great great grandchild Wyatt Hollingsworth; and her caregiver Carmen Sargent. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in honor of Mrs. Ray be sent to Central Texas Childrens Home, 13200 Crane Road, Buda, Texas 78610.
