Baldemar Garcia Sotelo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Baldemar Garcia Sotelo of Palmview, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Baldemar may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Baldemar touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eliseo Garcia and Delfina Sotelo; his wife Martha Arredondo; and his children, Claudia Garcia, Jorge Garcia and Cynthia Vanessa Garcia. He was also cherished by four sisters, two brothers, and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rivera Funeral Home (1813 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX 78572). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (916 Leo Ave, La Joya, TX 78560). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Fe Cemetery (5050 3 Mile Line Rd, Mission, TX 78574).
